4 Week Intensive Ceramic Class
In this intensive four-week pottery course, you will learn to transform an idea into practice and correctly build, shape, decorate, and glaze your pieces. The course will cover all the stages of the ceramic-making process and students will receive personalized attention and guidance at every step of the way.
You will be introduced to basic, experimental, and advanced hand-building techniques throughout the class. Given the length of the course, you will have time to engage with your pottery artwork, immerse in the creative process and master key ceramic skills.
This pottery making course warmly welcomes individuals of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced students who would like to practice and extend upon their skills. The personalized approach ensures that the course adapts to your unique needs and aspirations, allowing you to progress at your own pace.
In this comfortable and inspiring setting, snacks and delicious Argentine wine will be served, while a carefully curated playlist sets the groove for the ceramic workshop.
Day 1: Dive into an exploration of basic, experimental, and advanced hand-building techniques. Begin crafting your project and feel free to bring along a mood board for inspiration.
Day 2: Progress on your personal project as you delve deeper into the creative process.
Day 3: Acquire knowledge in various decoration techniques and put them into practice on your pieces.
Day 4: Add the finishing decorations and master the art of glazing.
Each session will last for 2,5 hours and can be conducted in both English and Spanish, depending on your preferences. Feel free to choose the day of the week that suits you for attending the ceramic classes, and we will subsequently coordinate the specific start date that aligns with your preference for commencing the course.
Materials, tools, light snacks and beverages will be provided.
After the ceramic course, works made during the workshop will fired in our studio by us. Students will be able to pick up finished pieces on an arranged pick-up date. This may take up to 3/4 weeks. In case you'd be gone by then we can ship the pieces via FedEx to your hometown (please note shipping cost is not included in price).

Cancellation Policies
Booking and payment are binding. If you can't attend the class, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment and we will provide you a voucher for a new clay class. Any appointment missed or late cancelled without 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. We, unfortunately, don’t refund classes.
Booking on a different date or time frame
In case you'd prefer to book a pottery class in other date or time frame than the ones available please email us to info@owoceramics.com and we'll try our best to accommodate you.
Unclaimed pieces
Any piece not claimed within the last three months will be considered abandoned unless the owner expresses interest in claiming it, and if, for any valid reason, the shipping or pickup is unavoidably delayed.
At the close of each year, any unclaimed pieces will be repurposed, finding a new home through Fundación Pilares, a local NGO passionately committed to aiding children in need in Buenos Aires. With the holiday season just around the corner, the unclaimed pieces will be transformed into heartwarming Christmas gifts for these deserving kids.
